Our Beginning
​​Our journey began as a spark—an idea born out of necessity and a commitment to change. HFC was founded by Dr. Francisco Fueyo González and Mr. Javier Fernández with a vision to make clean hydrogen a viable alternative to fossil fuels.

HFC was founded to address the pressing need for clean, sustainable energy. Our groundbreaking technology generates hydrogen from nitrogen-enriched wastewater, providing a dual solution to waste management and energy production. We’re trusted by institutions, governments, and individuals alike because we know that in an uncertain world, the fastest learners and the boldest innovators will thrive. Our role is to help drive that progress.

In addition to advancing our technology, we actively pursue grants, engage with local ecosystems, and drive innovation through intellectual property development. Our Spanish and international patent (PCT) has been expanded to Europe, North America, Japan, Mexico, and Colombia. By cultivating collaborations with academic, industrial, and governmental partners, we strive to accelerate innovation, scale transformative solutions, and contribute to a greener, more sustainable future.​
